(Click for map)
Linn Village is at a premium in-town location on a new cul-de-sac within walking distance to Glenwood’s excellent schools, town square services, a new YMCA, Lake Park recreation and other features of this quality bedroom community. The homes are 1200-1800 square feet. All homes are Mid-American Energy-Advantage qualified efficient homes. Approx. 25 minutes from the metro area, the model home is furnished and open on Saturdays and Sundays 1-4 PM.
- New Century Builders will build each of the homes and we have required each home to meet higher energy efficiency standards beyond current building codes. We are participating in several rebate and grant programs offered by lending entities and utility companies to build low maintenance highly efficient homes that will show a significant savings in energy use. This also allows us to offer incentives within the home financing packages, making the homes quite affordable.

Press Release:
"The site selected for Linn Village is unique as it would be considered an “infill” residential project. We were able to locate a site that was near the town center and improve the landscape to accommodate several new homes.
When these sites are available, they tend to be quite desirable because they are already centered into established neighborhoods and very close to many of the services provided within the community. This is good for local businesses, the sense of community and the owners. Whereas, the typical land development contains many more homes and is often located on the outside of town and reliant on an automobile to leave the development, thus much of the commerce leaves the community. The recent trends in urban planning have re-tooled some of the beliefs of suburban sprawl and its effects on its residents and the nearby town or city.
Since Linn Village is located in an established neighborhood, close to schools and services, we are particular with the overall appearance and design, or streetscape. As you use the main street, Linn Court, in the subdivision, our master plan calls for each home to have specific features such as covered front porches, dormers, sidewalks and landscape to create an attractive, usable front yard area. The idea is that it will promote socialization, and a sense of neighborhood or community that is safe and user-friendly."
